Do I need a background in painting to run a successful
Pro-Fast Painting franchise?
NO – WE PREFER THAT YOU DO NOT. Most Pro-Fast Franchisees (PFF's) will not have any painting or construction experience at all. We need someone who is willing to learn, manage and work hard at selling.
What is the distinct advantage of opening a Pro-Fast Painting franchise over just starting a painting business?
Back office support including professional phone answering, immediate scheduling of appointments and jobs, advertising, professional branding, help with large jobs, job pricing assistance, training, huge paint price discounts, plus our commitment to your success.
How many crews will I need to hire to get started?
None…you initially find the work and then hire a few good painters. This keeps your overhead down and gives you the flexibility to ramp up on an “as needed” basis. We will also teach you how to identify sub-contractors for larger jobs or projects that you may not want to devote your own resources to.
What kind of vehicle and equipment do I need?
Depending on your goals and business plan, you can start out with a small van or truck incorporating our vehicle identity system. As your business grows you may add additional vehicles as needed.
Can I work from a home office?
Yes…we encourage it initially. At the beginning your business does not warrant expensive overhead. Once your business is up and running at over $50,000 monthly, we encourage you to consider a small, inexpensive office.
